A quick pressure cooker favorite.

Ingredients
- 1/2 C black lentils (urad dal)
- several bay leaves
- 2 T garlic
- 1 T ginger
- 1 t salkt
- 1/2 t turmeric
- 1/2 t cordiander
- 1/2 t garam masala
- 1/4 t cumin
- 1.5 C water
- 1/4 C greek yogurt
- 1/2 C cream
- 1 t cumin seeds
- 1 T tomato paste
Directions
- Wash lentils then combine the first set on ingredients into the pressure cooker and cook on high for 30 min.
- While lentils are cooking, combine the yogurt and cream.
- While lentils are cooking, gently fry cumin seeds in oil until fragrant and sputtering, then add in the tomato paste to cook briefly.
- When lentils are done, mash/break them up. The more you do this the smoother it will be. You may light it more chunky or smooth.
- Add in the the yogurt/cream and cumin/tomato mixtures and mix together.
- Serve over rice or with naan.
