Corn Tortillas

Straight from the back of the Maseca bag.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 C masa
  • 1.5 C water

Directions

  1. Combine. Will be dry and a bit crumbly. You may think there isnt quite enough water.
  2. Form into 2 inch balls, and press on a plastic wrap lined tortilla press.
  3. Cook on a dry skillet on medium heat until you get nice color.
  4. They will feel thick and stuff when they come off the skillet, they will soften.
  5. Put between a slightly damp dish towel to keep warm while cooking.
