Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3-4 potatoes
- 1/3 C milk
- 3/4 C peas
- 1/2 C chopped onion
- 3/4 C chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 C shredded carrots
- 1 pack of brown gravy mix
- sprinkle of shredded cheese
- salt and pepper
- Peel and boil potatoes, rice or mash after they are cooked. (You can add a bit of milk here if you want)
- Preheat oven to 375
- Brown the mushrooms and onions together in a cast iron skillet.
- Add the beef and brown.
- Mix the gravy powder and water according to the package, then add to the beef mix along with the veggies.
- Stir until gravy has thickened around the meat and veggies.
- Put the mashed potatoes on top, smooth the top, the use a fork to put ridges in the potatoes.
- Finish with a bit a cheese and bake for 10 min.
- Broil until top is golden and a bit crispy.
