Pulled Pork (crockpot)

 

Shredded Pulled Pork (Crockpot method)

Pulled Pork Sandwiches for a Crock Pot

2 tbsp garlic
2 chopped onions
~2lbs pork butt/shoulder, get a boneless one (plastic-wrapped with twine netting)
1-2 Beers
8 Pack of buns
BBQ sauce

In the morning cut the pork into 2 inch cubes and put them in the crock pot. Add the garlic, onions, and cover with beer. Turn the crock pot on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hours. About 30 min before you want to eat remove the chunks of pork, put them on a pan or plate and shred.

This should be very easy by now and will also allow you to remove and residual fat. Drain the crock pot of the broth and add the shredded pork back in. Add some BBQ sauce to the pot and heat. Serve on buns and add more BBQ sauce if necessary.
