Pot Stickers
2 cups of Napa Cabbage
1/3 pound of ground pork
2 T ginger
2 T garlic
1/2 T salt
2 T soy sauce
2 T sesame oil
1/4 cup of shredded carrot
(and/or 1/2 c chopped green onions)
1 egg
1 package of pot sticker wrappers
fresh chopped pineapple! (served with potstickers, it makes for a perfect side!) (try it!)
makes ~30-35 pot stickers
Chop the napa cabbage into small pieces and combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
Place a wrapper on the counter top and wet the outside edges of it with water.
Spoon about 2 t. of the filling into the middle of the wrapper. Fold however you would like, but make sure the filling is sealed in with folds.
Put aside and fold pot stickers until you are out of filling.
Fry the pot stickers on one side in oil until they are golden on the bottom. Flip them over then add some water to the pan and steam them until fully cooked.
Serve immediately.
The left overs- if there are any- can be frozen and reheated once they have been cooked.
