Kimchi Jjigae
1/3 pound of ground pork
2 T sesame oil
1 1/2 cups of kimchi
1 T garlic
1 T ginger
1 1/2 T chili garlic paste
2-4 mushrooms
1 zucchini
1 onion
1/2 brick of tofu
Udon noodles
In a large high sided skillet fry the pork and onion in the sesame oil. Add the ginger, garlic and chili garlic paste. Simmer until the onions are soft.
Chop the kimchi and conserve all the kimchi juices. Add the kimchi to the pork and then add enough water to make a stew. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In the mean time chop the tofu and any vegetables you want. Combine all the remaining ingredients into the stew and cook until the noodles are ready.
Serve as hot as possible!
