Ingredients
- 1 C sugar
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 egg
- juice and zest of 1 orange
- 1 C nuts
- 1 C cranberries
- 1 C flour
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
- Add egg, beaten.
- Melt butter in a cup and add boiling water to make 3/4 C. Add to dry ingredients.
- Add nuts, cranberries and orange.
- Bake in a loaf pan for 60-75 min at 350. Top should be brown and cracked.
